Introduction
INTRODUCTION
By keeping a broad foresight of providing education to the students of rural and marginalized society, our founder Sow. Kesharbai Sonajirao Kshirsagar alias Kaku has introduced Kalikadevi Arts, Commerce and Science College, which is run by Adarsh Shikshan Sanstha Beed, in the sphere of education to meet the needs of society and foster ideal citizenship among people. Ours college is permanently affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Aurangabad since 2002. Arts, Commerce and Science faculties of UG as well as MA English & M.Com. are successfully running with overall 1286 students. Arts faculty of YCMOU distance education is in full fledge with 500 students.
Institution is trying its best to ruminate value education, social responsibility and opportunities for employability, being impacted by the primary institution of Beed district. Though our college is of short span is accreditated by NACC and awarded B grade with CGPA 2.65. We have achieved a good social and educational recognition in terms of educating socially and economically backward students, standing firmly to produce an overall positive impact on society.

• Use innovative and modern teaching aids for teaching learning process like Audio-Visual aids, ICT lectures, Demonstrations, Charts, Posters and guest lectures.
• Inspire innovative ideas of students by conducting co-curricular and extra-curricular activities related to personality development, Social bonding, language development, scientific research and economic independence.
• Provide free competitive exam coaching to students regarding various competitive exams and reward their ability and intelligence by conducting tests and competition.
• Provide opportunities to students for developing their personal hobbies and interest by organizing cultural activities, sports activities and vocational training programs and college exhibitions.
• Provide open platform to express their views and ideas through open discussions, seminars, debate competitions, Elocution competitions and participation in other intercollegiate competitions.
• Departments of our college organize educational tours, visits to different places with historical, educational industrial scientific importance.
• Through Placement cell we provide job opportunities to current and alumni students by organizing campus interviews of companies like, Yashasvi Institute Pune through and ICICI bank in which 28 and71 students were selected respectively.
• We also organize motivational lectures for students through INFOSIS.
• Through ‘Health Care Unit’ we provide first aid in emergency and organize society oriented health awareness programmes.
• We have introduced ‘Rashtriya Kishore Swasthya Karyakram’ of National rural Health Mission of Weekly Iron Folic Acid supplementation for adolescent girls.
• To point out various problems of female students we try to empower girls by providing information of various laws related to woman, nutrition and health awareness programmes, free medical camp and implementing programmes of National Rural Health Mission.
• Established Internal Complaint Committee/ Women Sexual Harassment Prevention Cell and Anti raging committee for female students as per government resolution to avoid any type of malpractices in college especially against women.
• Recently we have implemented ‘Earn while learn’ Scheme for needy and poor students as per university rules.
